Make a gift to the Stephens Fund and support our legacy of excellence.

Giving Day is November 30, 2021. Join the community of supporters and make a gift today!

Giving Day celebrates the spirit of philanthropy that makes it possible for students to receive scholarships, play sports, study in the library, learn about their resumes, and stay on track to graduate on time with support from the Student Success Center.

Your gift to the Stephens Fund supports such essential areas as scholarships, academic support and services, faculty excellence, innovative guest speakers, athletics, student heath and wellness, student programming, and our beautiful campus. Please give to the Stephens Fund to support the College’s greatest needs.

The scholarship fund currently accounts for one of every $12 awarded to students each year, and is vital in our financial aid awards to students.

We honor alumnae, families and friends who fund and name scholarships. With almost 200 scholarships, hundreds of awards are made each year. There are two types of named scholarships:

Endowed scholarships have funds invested in perpetuity and awards are funded through investment earnings.

Annual scholarships start as five+ year commitments to annually fund a scholarship, usually for at least $5,000 per year. The full amount is awarded to a student each year.

Giving Challenges

The Dorothy Moeller Hagerman '32 Challenge

Dorothy Moeller ’32 was deeply appreciative of her education at Stephens College. Her pursuit of drama laid the foundation for a career in broadcasting and civic plays. In honor of her mother, Bonnie Hagerman has created a scholarship fund to encourage the next generation of donors to match her $50,000 gift.

Class of 1971 Participation Challenge

The Class of 1971 challenges 197+1 classmates to make a gift on or before June 30, 2021. In other words, our goal is for 198 commitments from the Class of 1971 for gifts to Stephens during our Reunion year.

The Angel Mendez ’14 Challenge

Angel Mendez ’14 knows that today’s women need Stephens, and she challenges her sisters to join her in supporting them. The Angel Mendez ’14 Challenge will provide a 1:1 match for new or renewed Stephens Fund gifts of $1,000 or more with a five-year commitment.
